Speedway was incorporated in 1926. The entire Indianapolis Motor Speedway is actually located within the limits of the town. Speedway itself is a completely separate governmental unit within Indianapolis, with its own police and fire departments, town council, school system, parks and recreation department, water and wastewater utilities and public library.
Designed to be a ‘city of the future’, Speedway was designed from the outset to be friendly to those new-fangled motorcars. Now, more than a million tourists every year come to Speedway to see one of the world-class races held there, including the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400 and Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix.
Thus far, we’ve been unable to convince the Speedway Powers That Be to add a race featuring HVAC service repair trucks. We’re confident that Solar Bear’s trucks, which are always full loaded and stocked with parts, will be highly competitive in both the race and repair portions of the HVAC 200 we someday hope to see. Until then, you can rely on Solar Bear to race to your home when you call, and for them to speedily take care of all of your HVAC needs.
