Fishers

From about 350 residents in 1963, Fishers has grown by leaps and bounds to reach a population of nearly 77,000, according to the 2012 Census. Obviously, they’re doing something right: in 2011 The Learning Channel was named the number one city for families, as well as being selected as a Green Community by the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns. For both 2011 and 2012, Fishers was named the safest city in the nation, and in 2010 was Money Magazine’s eighth best place to live in the country. The city has also been crowned America’s best affordable suburb (BusinessWeek) and eleventh best place to move in the country (Forbes). That it was on Money’s “Top 100 Places to Live” lists in 2005 (#24), 2006 (#33), 2008 (10th) and 2012 (12th).

You have to wonder if old William Conner knew what he was starting when he built his log cabin and trading post along the White River back in 1802.

After that, what’s left to say? Fishers is a great place to live and work. Just remember, when you need the best HVAC service in the area, call Solar Bear. The Bear is proud to serve great communities like Fishers every day of the year.
